Hotel Policies

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 24 hours before 3 PM on the day of arrival. Cancellations within the 24-hour cancellation policy are subject to first night's room and tax. Please be aware that attempting to modify a reservation within the 24-hour cancellation period will be considered a cancellation. Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable.

Deposit Policy
A valid credit card is required at time of booking to hold the reservation. The credit card will be authorized pre-arrival to ensure the validity, however no deposit will be taken with the exception of an Advanced Purchase Rate. In this case, the entire amount would be charged and is non-refundable.

Pet Policy
Deer Path Inn is dog friendly. You may have up to two small dogs per guest room (maximum of 40 pounds). A one-time non-refundable fee of $100 per dog plus tax will be charged to your room upon check-in. In our dining areas, only service dogs will be accommodated.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.

Do you offer parking?
The Deer Path Inn offers complimentary valet service to all hotel guests.

Do you have an airport shuttle?
We do not offer an airport shuttle; however, we are happy to assist with organizing private transportation services.

Do you allow smoking on property?
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, including balconies or patios.

Do you have a fitness center onsite?
Yes, Deer Path Inn has a small fitness center on site located on the second floor.

Do you have a pool?
We do not have a pool; however Deer Path Inn has access to Lake Forest's private beach located a mile from the hotel. Bicycles are available for complimentary use, as well as car parking passes on a first come first serve basis.

What is the minimum age to check-in?
You must be 21 or older to check in at the Deer Path Inn. Any person who is under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
